Memorial Day is the unofficial kick-off of summer swim activities. As you emerge from inside your home to enjoy the season, you must look chic in your swimwear at the beach or beside the pool. Whatever your preference, there is a style for everyone. Remember our spring trends–try a new color like yellow or orange.
When it comes to finding your best swimsuit, a size chart is the perfect place to start, but there are other factors you may want to take into consideration as well. Finding the proper swimsuit size shouldn’t be a guessing game—your swimsuit fit should be flawless. So, take your measurements (bust, waist, hips) today or prior to making any purchases.
• If you have a larger bust, swim tops with thicker straps, underwire, and molded cups will provide the most support; • If you want a one-piece suit, but the size chart puts you between sizes, buy for thewidest part of your body–in other words, go with the larger size; • A two-piece suit–the bikini or tankini combo, could be a better choice if you are in-between sizes on the chart.Keep in mind that you can mix and match top and bottom sizes; and • If you are in-between sizes, adjustable straps and removable cups are your new best friends. They will allowyou to customize the suit to fit you properly, which is especially important if your measurements put you in a gray area.
